Gillingham Football Club is a non-league English football club based in Gillingham, Kent. Founded in 1899, the club plays in the Isthmian League, the ninth tier of English football. B stands for '青年队', as they field a youth team in the English youth pyramid. The team colours are claret and blue, and their home ground is Priestfield Stadium, which has a capacity of 11,500. Gillingham's main rivals are local neighbours AFC Bournemouth, with whom they contest the "Southport derby". The club's best-known former player is former England international midfielder Paul Gascoigne.
